New-style (all inclusive) bulletin: after heated discussion, decided to keep half-sheet; use inclusive Christmas and Easter. Whether to keep deposit of “difficult” renters. Would keep some, but get rid of most dishes, electric roasters, etc. Council agreed. Purge when Jackie’s done with tax season. Most items to be donated, not sold. Church members to take what they’d like. Co-Op looking for Coordinator. Fund-raiser here May 5 from 3-5:30; raffle drawing, coffee, pastries. Tickets 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. Will be selling at church. Council to donate $100 for additional basket fillers. Jackie to purchase items/give receipt to Ed. New brochure ready. Terri heard how great adopt-a-school career day was. Karen & Donna to attend volunteer banquet Apr 20. Mark to place window trim in ladies’ room. Waiting for “no rain”.
Old Business: Susan now talking with a Xerox manager re: copier issues. It sounds promising. Will keep updated. Signage: Susan shared first price sheet. Still waiting for one from Judco. Hope to complete by next meeting.
New Business: Chris read email from Karen Neuschaefer re: items available as Redeemer closes. They are donating the wooden Lenten cross, hymnals, camera and equip, and outdoor sign. Also have available: tables, folding chairs, and church misc. Mentioned that we’d like to do a “walk-thru” and see what’s there. RLC also wondering if we will support their hot meal at St. Andrew’s, Elyria, on the 4th Mondays. We hope to support this mission project and keep it running. Only consideration is that it’s same day as our pantry. Wondering if possibility of date change? Terri Camp shared flyer from LCCC re dental hygiene clinic. For $25, cleaning and much more. It’s a great deal. Hung copy on bulletin board and made copies to share at pantry. Recently had a Luxury heating repair. New box was needed in hall. Material was $289. Install/service call was $90.
The Meeting was adjourned with the Lord’s Prayer at 8:55 pm.
